How far is Fleetwood on Sea from King Shaka International Airport?

Approximately 19km, around a 20–25 minute drive depending on traffic.

Approximately 20km, around a 25–30 minute drive via the M4 or N2.

Yes, uMhlanga Village is just a few minutes’ walk away. The Pearls Mall, with restaurants and coffee shops overlooking Whalebone Pier, is 800m from the property. ( opposite  the PEARLS MALL is the OCEANS MALL, with a  CHECKERS , WOOLWORTHS  as well as restaurants & shops)

uMhlanga is best navigated by car or ride-hailing apps such as Uber and Bolt, both of which are widely available in the area. ( The Umhlanga Cabs  are also available )

Apartments accommodate between 2 and 6 guests depending on the unit. Bachelor and 1-bedroom apartments sleep 2, 2-bedroom apartments sleep 4, 2 bedroom apartments  with the nook sleep 6 , and 3-bedroom apartments sleep up to 6.

Most apartments have full or partial sea views. There are 16 sea-facing apartments with uninterrupted ocean views, and a south wing with 6 apartments offering partial views. The garden unit has slightly limited sea views and a private low-walled garden. Because of the enclosed garden, this unit does not have a balcony overlooking the sea and promenade.

All apartments include a fully equipped kitchen, air conditioning, free uncapped Wi-Fi, flat-screen TV with DStv and Netflix, a coffee machine, daily cleaning, towels, pool access, and secure parking. Most units include a balcony with braai facilities.

The 6 sleepers are 18m², the 4 sleepers 10m² & the partial sea view 6m². The bachelor 2m².

Secure parking is available for all guests. The property has CCTV and patrolling security guards on-site at night.

Free uncapped Wi-Fi is included in all apartments. It forms part of the rate with no additional charges at checkout.

Braai facilities are included on the balconies of most apartments. The garden-facing apartment has a patio with a braai.

Check-in is from 14:00 to 17:00, and check-out is strictly between 09:00 and 09:30.
If you expect to arrive after 17:00, please notify us in advance by emailing us or calling 031 575 9850. Your keys will be prepared in a labelled envelope with your unit number and name, and left with the security guard on duty, who will assist you to your unit upon arrival.

Unfortunately, early check-in and late check-out are not available. Our team needs the full turnaround time to prepare each unit for incoming guests.

Fleetwood on Sea is well suited to families. The larger apartments sleep up to 6 guests, the property has a large swimming pool, and the beach is directly accessible from the promenade outside.

No, Fleetwood on Sea is not pet-friendly. Pets are not permitted on the property.
